The ROYALL WEST END Antique is a 14-fret metal body single-cone resonator guitar built for blues, bottleneck slide, roots music and players who want the direct response and distinctive character of a classic metal-body resonator.
Its bell-brass body works together with a 9.5-inch hand-spun aluminum resonator cone to deliver strong projection, articulate attack and a pronounced metallic voice. The 14-fret neck joint provides easier access to the upper register than a traditional 12-fret design.
Sound & Character
WEST END combines the immediate response of a biscuit-bridge single-cone system with the tonal character of a bell-brass body. The result is a focused resonator voice suited to slide, blues rhythm, fingerstyle and roots-oriented playing. Final tone also depends on strings, setup, technique and amplification.
