The ROYALL TRIFONIUM Cutaway Rotty is a 12-fret cutaway wood body tricone resonator guitar built around three 6-inch hand-spun aluminum cones and an aluminum T-bridge. It combines the layered harmonic response of a tricone system with a cutaway wood-body design and an aged visual treatment.
Sound & Character
The tricone system distributes string vibration across three smaller cones, creating complex overtones, balanced sustain and a smoother response than a typical single-cone resonator. The cutaway provides easier access to the upper register while retaining a traditional 12-fret neck joint.
