The ROYALL TRIFONIUM Rotty is a 12-fret wood body tricone resonator guitar with a rusty-finish mahogany body, three 6-inch hand-spun aluminum cones and an aluminum T-bridge. It combines the layered harmonic response of a tricone system with the acoustic character of a wood body and an aged visual treatment.
Sound & Character
The tricone system distributes string vibration across three smaller cones, creating complex overtones, balanced sustain and a smoother response than a typical single-cone resonator. The mahogany body contributes its own acoustic character around the resonator system.
